Nicely written. I can really appreciate your love of Perfumes. Some scents are so calming you wish this was how the air smells. I lean more towards earthy scents Patchouli, Sandalwood, Musk and Amber in oils.
They are truly heavenly to wear. Looking forward to reading more on your adventures and discoveries of new Perfumes. =)
Welcome & thank you Brenda! Nice to see you over here 🙂 Actually, they are one of my favourites as well. I’m drawn to earthy & musky scents. 🙂
I’ve recently discovered the Japanese Wisteria tree. So beautiful, like the stuff in fairytales. I looked up to see if they had fragrances made from this tree. They do, however I was wondering if you have happened to know about this scent and if it leans more toward a flowery smell or woodsy or a combination.
Hi Brenda. 🙂 I LOVE and LOVE Wisteria. I was just taking photos of them on Tuesday! Where I grew up, I could find them in the gardens and hedges and the wild ones in the woods. They really are like something out of fantasy, aren’t they?
There are quite a few perfumes with Wisteria. Johana by Keiko Mecheri, Wisteria by Crabtree & Evelyn, Wisteria & Violet by Jo Malone, Glicine by Acca Kappa, Olene Diptyque , for example. Most of Wisteria fragrances seems to be floral main. Personally, I like Johana. 🙂
